C Spire, a diversified telecommunications and technology services company, has promoted Karl Arndt to director of government wireless. In his new role, Arndt will lead the government wireless team, which manages local, state and education accounts throughout Mississippi. Arndt previously served as state government wireless manager.

As state government wireless manager, Arndt was responsible for managing Mississippi’s government business. This role is vital to the company since most Mississippi state agencies utilize C Spire’s cellular service.
Prior to C Spire, Arndt was a senior account executive at Motorola Solutions, where he was responsible for long-term sales strategy for the state Mississippi, overseeing Wireless Communication Commission, city of Jackson, lobbying and state EPL contracts for the company. He was also a project director for Motorola Solutions, where he managed major telecommunications projects. Arndt began his 17-year career as senior staff systems engineer at the company, where he designed and implemented public safety radio systems in central Texas and Mississippi that were utilized by first responders for mission critical communications.
Arndt earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Texas A & M University and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas.
Committed to volunteerism, Arndt serves on the board of trustees for The Redeemer’s School, an urban Christian K-8 school in Jackson, Mississippi.
He is married to Haley and together they have three sons: Robert (11), Barry (9), and Bo (6). They live in Belhaven and are members of Redeemer Church in Jackson, where he serves as deacon.
